Ground Floor Bathroom in Maidstone

Annie and Jay's ground-floor bathroom renovation in Maidstone involved converting the room into a wetroom. The owner supplied the project account and photographs.

The work described by the owner included rerouting the bathroom suite and external soil pipework, resizing a window, insulating the external walls and floor, and installing a digital shower and a recessed, lit shower niche. The old room was stripped back before plumbing, electrics, waterproofing, plastering and tiling were completed.

The owner described the final tile scheme as cream on the main walls and blue within the shower area. The reported project duration was four weeks.
